The Cisco ONS 15500 optical network series includes the Cisco ONS 15540 ESP extended services platform, the Cisco ONS 15540 ESPx extended services platform with external cross connect capability (ESPx), the Cisco ONS 15530 dense wavelength-division multiplexing (DWDM) multiservice aggregation platform, and the Cisco ONS 15501erbium-doped fiber amplifier (EDFA).
